Our programs are designed to develop strength, stamina and physical well-being, which are of course all desirable; however this is not where it should end. These programs become a “Way of Life”, and a way of being. We train your mind, body, and spirit together in order to realize the fullness of your potential. There are no shortcuts to anything of lasting value and there is no substitute for hard work. Together WE WILL WORK HARD to get the results you want!

Components of the “Way of Life” Health & Fitness System

  • Physical Conditioning – we use aerobic fitness to raise the heart rate into the training zone and keep it there for significant intervals enhancing your cardiovascular system. Strength is developed progressively through exercises using the body’s own weight, free weights and fitness machines, building muscle and a toned physique. Emphasis is also placed on developing and maintaining flexibility through progressive stretching of major muscle groups improving overall movement and blood flow. All of this promotes fat loss and the loss of inches making your body lean, toned and more defined.
  • Nutrition – you are going to need a minimum caloric intake in order to maintain energy and alertness. This will be integral in losing weight the right way. We teach you how to watch the source of your calories, and eliminate any empty calories (simple sugars a.k.a. junk food). Good sources of dietary fiber and a variety of foods (meat and fish; whole grains and legumes; dark green and leafy vegetables; essential oils, eggs and diary products) packed with nutritional value. Drinking plenty of water as well as taking a vitamin and mineral supplement(s) daily will aid in carrying away toxins and waste materials from the blood, keeping you healthy, strong and ready train.
  • Self-Defense – in today’s urban society it is very important to be aware of your surroundings and have the ability to defend yourself if you are attacked. We teach basic kicks, punches, blocks and stances that develop self confidence. You will learn how to escape from various choke holds, grabs and bear hugs. We stress developing an inner awareness or “street smarts” for avoiding potentially threatening situations.
  • Discipline and Concentration – we show you how to develop and continuously enhance these qualities making them useful in everyday life. Through motivation and meditation you will begin to notice subtle changes in the way you do your work, study and how you handle daily situations.

“I’m getting married in a month and I purchased my dress one size too small… Mr. Williams can you help me?”

Mr. Williams was a “lifesaver”! I first met him in mid-June with a clear goal. I had to lose enough weight and fat to fit into my wedding dress, which was one size too small. I had purchased it this way as an incentive! My wedding date was July 23rd 2005, so I did not have a lot of time to spare!

I met with Mr. Williams 3 times a week for very intense weight reduction and firming exercises and did 1 hour and ½ of cardio as well. The workouts were grueling but EFFECTIVE!

I went FOR MY FINAL FITTING July 18th (1 month after I began with Way of Life). The seamstress could NOT believe it when she zipped my dress up all the way, when, at first, we couldn’t zip it up past my mid back!!!!!! She said I was the FIRST bride to actually lose enough weight to fit into my dress.

I apparently lost about 4 inches off my back and chest area! Mr. WIlliams is an EXCELLENT trainer, and I am so thankful to have him as my trainer!!!!!!
